Our roots are rich in agriculture stretching all the way back into the late 1800's. It was in 1891, when Boerner's from New Braunfels, Tx moved to Pilot Point, Tx. They became the first colonist to buy land for a home and farming in the area. We specialize in Angus, Brangus, and Maine-Anjou cattle blood lines and grow hay, small grains, sorghum and legumes. “Keeping the end product in mind from the beginning”
The “end product” can mean many different things. For us, it could be a production oriented cow or bull, a future A.I. sire, a future herd bull for our neighbors, a future donor cow, or record bushel per acre wheat. Ultimately, the end product is a prime steak or loaf of bread in your local grocery store or restaurant. Due to advances in technology and research it is possible to produce quality yields and cattle, with less resources without reducing quality, compared to earlier times in agriculture.
